The next River City Sessions will be held Feb. 7 at Cadek Hall on the UTC campus. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10. The performers for this event are Nancy Seiters and Stringer's Ridge. The River City Sessions is a collaboration of poets, authors, spoken word performers, storytellers, and musicians whose work honors life, literature, and the music of the South. Performed in front of a live audience, recorded and broadcast on WUTC 88.1, and streamed online, going into its seventh year, The River City Sessions is bringing these age-old traditions to new listeners.

Granfalloon, 400 East Main Street, Chattanooga, TN 37408

River City Sessions presents a Valentine's show on February 14 at the Granfallon, 400 East Main Street in Chattanooga. The show starts at 7:30 PM and admission is $5. Featured performers will include Nancy Seiters and friends Patrick Dugan and Charles Gaston. Also appearing will be Shawnessay Cargile, Dana Shavin, and Michael Gray. In addition to their full menu, Adelle's will offer a couple of Valentine specials: raspberry chocolate creme filled crepes and Raspberry Russians (vodka, Razmatazz, and half and half). About the show: Back by popular demand, Nancy Seiters and friends. With a mix of Americana, country, Cowboy Junkies and storytelling. Nancy along with Patrick Dugan and Charles Gaston form one of the most entertaining trios in town. Our line up is rounded out by Shawnesy Cargile, Dana Shavin, and Michael Gray telling you the stories, singing the songs and hopefully throwing in a little truth to help you navigate this dastardly world of the love.

A veritable Sewanee Supergroup! Longtime local faves Broad Mountain are teaming up with The Hill Brothers, and very special guests Nikki Chavez and Nancy Seiters to jam out as long as they can this Friday night. This first-ever Superjam will no doubt heat up December on the mountain, with this crew bringing the ruckus to the upstairs stage at Shenanigans! And only $7? DON'T MISS IT!

Friday the 13th surfaces once more on the 2018 calendar during RR's 20th Anniversary year! On July 13, we'll be at Dee's Country Cocktail Lounge in Madison, TN to celebrate the release of another RR zine. Published every Friday the 13th, this will be issue #37. Music for the evening runs the gamut, from country and rock 'n' roll to power pop and soul.
